Mehsikomer <br />Minutes of the meeting for December 611960 read and after a correction <br />of the name Curve Street to Rose Street the minutes were approved. <br />Trustee Roy Dornfeld was sworn in for the next three years as trustee. <br />Clerk Don Mehsikomer was sworn in as clerk for the next two yea rs. <br />Trustee Robert Dennis reported that servicing of the small skating <br />rink was delayed because the tank truck was not available to trans- <br />port the water from the pump over to the rink area. <br />Trustee Robert Dennis requested that he be given a. new assignment for <br />the year 1961. <br />The suggestion was made that the new trustee in charge of recreation <br />lay out a program for the entire year. <br />Clerk Don Mehsmkomer made motion second by trustee Robert Dennis <br />the village pay for the flooding of the skating rink at the village <br />labor rate. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Trustee Lloyd Ebne advised that he would consult with John Heiml <br />to see if he wanted the light on Rose Street moved; if so, he would <br />contact 7orthern States with the necessary instructions. <br />Trustee Roy Dornfeld stated that some street signs had bean knocked <br />down and that others had been damaged. Also some fishhouses on the <br />lake had been vandalized. No arrests. <br />Hugh Madson advised that he would help out with opening and closing <br />the warming house during -the balance of the skating season when he <br />is in town. <br />`'ommittee appointments for 1961 are: <br />Streets- Lloyd Ebne, Robert Dennis, Roy Dornfeld <br />Parks and playgrounds- Roy Dornfeld, Lloyd Ebne, Robert Dennis <br />Public safety- Robert Dennis, Roy Dornfeld, Lloyd _Ebne. <br />Health- Dr. Josewski, Don !Jehsikomer, Louis Urtel. <br />Purchasing- Louis Urtel, Don P,Zehsikomer. <br />Weed Inspector- Lloyd Ebne will make an a�-)pointment and he will be <br />paid at the going rate for labor in the village. <br />(has Inspector- H. Thomason of North St. Paul. <br />Building Inspector- Erick Scheel <br />Village paper- Stillwater Weekly Gazette <br />Engineering- ?canister Engineering of St. Paul <br />Legal- Thoreen, Thoreen, and Lawson. <br />Ban'_- State Bank of Lake Elmo <br />1,1otion made by trustee Roy Dornfeld second by trustee Lloyd Ebne <br />the the above appointments be approved. Carried 4-0. <br />Trustee Roy Dornfeld was requested to contact Rod Lawson to see the status <br />of the ordnance covering the limiting of two dogs, two cats, or one <br />of each and the restriction on any kennels in the village limits. <br />
