Lake Elmo
Minnesota
February 6, 1961
Village Council
Lake Elmo
Minnesota
Gentlemen
The Committe on Water Procurement for Lake Elmo held a meeting, after
the matter was defeated at the last election, to discuss the matter further.
The majority opinion was that another attempt should be made to try to bring
this matter before the voters in the village. In so deciding, it was thought
that a..00 per front foot, with a $100.00 hook-up charge, is the fairest method.
The footage of the various irregular pieces of property to be judged on its
merits.
It was decided that if this meets with the councils permission, an effort will
be made to appoint a number of teams of two people each to contact the voters
with material that will show each one what the over-all cost will be. This was
put in the form of a motion which was seconded and passed.
Sincerely
The Committee
M J Brookman, Chairman
