April 4, 1961 <br />Your water supply has been tested by the Dairy <br />Products Laboratories, St. Paul, Minnesota, with <br />the following results: <br />Coliform (Lactose): Negative <br />Nitrate Nittogen: Parts per Million <br />Your sample shows to have negative colifirm, <br />therefore it is satisfactory in this respect. <br />In this area, the natural nitrate nitrogen content <br />of the water does not normally exceed 1 Part per <br />Million. Nitrates in excess of this amount <br />appears to be from sewage. If the water has over <br />1 Part per Million, it would be preferable not <br />to use this water in the preparation of formula <br />for babies under 6 months. <br />Water with over 10 Parts per Million should not <br />be used for drinking or cooking unless regular <br />bacterial 'tests indicate the absence of organisms <br />of the coliform group. <br />I//l <br />Q-c�'ci`.
