Meeting May 21, 1968. <br />Meeting called to order at 7:05PM by Mayor Brockman, <br />Present:Brookman,Aberorombie,Ebne,Goerss and Mehsikomer. <br />Minutes of the May 7,1968 read and approval withheld pending the correct <br />wording on the new Ordinance #33. <br />�,%Clerk instructed to write letters. to Eugene MoCarthy,Joseph Karth and <br />Walter Mondale regarding Air Travel Tax on State & Local Governmmnts. <br />Letter read informing us of Wash Cty Ping Assn Meeting May 22 at BPM. <br />Letter fromMMG advising of request, for annexation of parts of Baytown <br />and Oak Park Heighte. Meeting May 23 in new County Offices Bldg. <br />Letter informing the village of the increase in rates of the mm League <br />of Municipalities. J. <br />Harvey Allen and Ptak Durand asked if the village had made any decision <br />on a culvert on North Shore Drive by the Durand Property. The council. <br />moved the meeting to the property involved and looked at the situation <br />first handy The Council offered to supply the forty feet of culvert if <br />the homeowners would see that the culvert was laid, They accepted so the <br />clerk was instructed to order -the necessary culvert and have it delivered <br />Trustee Ebne had one length of. 12 or 16 feet on hand. <br />Arrangements shold be made to have the following streets swept. Nepeta,. <br />Oak,Korth Shore _,rive,Tennis courts, 11th, Kalmia and 3rd (LER to Kal). <br />Clerk advised to order a measuring device for Village use, <br />Clerk to write letter to Ben Gorka thanking him for the donation of <br />a new bus stop. <br />The following bills were submitted for approval: <br />Village Wilbur Richert for snwwplowing, #200.00 <br />Village T A Schifsky and Sons 21.45 <br />Water 1st National Bank of St. Paul 3,208.00 <br />Motion by Abercrombie 2nd by Trustee Goerss that bills be ppid.
