'Wxttage of Rake Pmv <br />404tngt4u Tountu <br />`gahe `glmo, xiunrojata <br />MI19UTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING June 4, 1968 <br />PresentsBrookman,Abercrombie'Bbne,Goerss and Mehsikomer. <br />Meeting called to order at 7:30PM by Mayor Brockman. <br />Letter read and received from the Highway Department that the exit <br />from. Highway 94 and Lake Elmo Road and also the airport road had been <br />checked and they agreed that a turnoff should be installed at both <br />locations and that they expected to let bids so that work could be <br />started this fall. <br />Clerk instructed to contact Charles McCoy regarding the problem that <br />was encountered last winter dtith the water freezeup. <br />Mayor was advised that the shutoff valve had been located at '.Stay <br />Anderson's and the problem was that the measurenehts were off by approx <br />one foot:. It has been brought to the surface for wasy access. <br />Dove Borman was on xbi hand and advised that he would accept the position <br />of Chairman of the Sewer Study Committee. He asked questions onpro.. <br />cedures and possible candidates for the committee. <br />Al Haw ley introduced Jim Eder as a possible part time policeman for <br />the Village of Lake Elmo. Jim would work on an hourly rate of $2.25. <br />The tennis court marking and cleaning program was scheduled for Mori - <br />day night June 10 at 6:OOPM. <br />Al. E.
