Absent:Boorman. <br />Meeting called to order at 7:30PM by Mayor Brockman. <br />Minutes of the November 4th and November 19th meetings read and approved. <br />Norm Wendt requested that the Village lift thepart of the special use <br />permit -that would require that garage or building be torn down. The re— <br />stricted use would still be applicable.. Moved by Ebne 2nd.Aber. Carried 3/0. <br />Thompson Disposal was on hand to discuss the garbage hauling problems <br />that confront the Village. It was pointed out that Thompson was in poor <br />taste by not presenting their mailing proposal. to the council before it <br />was sent to customers. It was pointed out that with the change to a new <br />and larger village that all the haulers would be advised that a license <br />would be required along with the regulations that would govern those re— <br />ceiving a license. Thompson was advised that this was a two way propos- <br />ition and that if they had any ideas they should get them to the council. <br />Clerk instructed to ws± write the county board recommending the appoint— <br />ment of Ed. Westphal as the County Sheriff. <br />Francis Pott and Ray Krongard appointed to a special police study board <br />whose purpose it will be to study and then recommend to the Village Coun- <br />cil what they feel we need in the way of protection and service. East <br />Oakdale named Scotty Lyall and :Dick Gustafson to this board. <br />Motion by Trustee Abercrombie 2nd by Trustee Ebne that the vote of the <br />Village election has been canvassed and the results as presented by the <br />election judges was correct and approved. <br />62 votes were cast with Calvin Brockman being elected Mayor,l,loyd Ebne <br />being elected to the Council, Roger Meyer elected as TreaFtirer and Al <br />Haseley elected Constable.
