R-71- 2 RESOLUTION VILIAGE OF LAKE ELMO, MINNESOTA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SPECIAL USE; PERMIT FOR 3M CLUB OF ST. PAUL, INC, SHOOTING RANGE WHEREAS, the 3M Club of St. Paul, Inc. has made application for a special use permit to operate a trap and shooting range for members and guests of said Club; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said application was duly held by the Village Planning Commission and said Commission has recommended the issuance of a Special Use Permit under certain conditions and restrictions; and WHEREAS, the Village Council has considered and discussed this application at length and has reviewed all of the information submitted to the Planning Commission and the Council, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Council of the Village of Lake Elmo does, hereby, determine: (1) The issuance of a special use permit in the form annexed hereto and bearing the conditions and restrictions set forth therein will not be detrimental to the health, safety,morals or general welfare of the community; and (2) The issuance of such a permit will not cause any = ' raffic congestion or other hazard; and (3) The issuance of such a permit, particularly in view of the conditions set forth therein, will not depreciate surrounding property values; and (4) The use permitted by such permit is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Village Zoning Ordinance and the comprehensive plan. BE. IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk, is, accordingly, authorized to issue a Special Use Permit in the form annexed hereto to the 3M Club of St. Paul, Inc. upon payment of the necessary fees, if any, provided.by Ordinance, and upon annexing to said Permit Exhibits "A" and "B" referred to therein.
