R-71-21 RESOLUTION VILLAGE OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS; DESIGNA- TING THE SAME DAWCIN ACRES STREET I1,4'ROVE- MENT PROJECT; APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICA- TIONS THEREFOR AND ACCEPTING BIDS WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted September 7, 1971, fixed a date for Council hearing on the proposed improvement of the DAWCIN ACRES road; and WHEREAS, ten (10) days published notice of the hear- ing through two weekly publications of the required notice, as well as mailed notice, was given according to law and the hear- ing was held thereon on October 5, 1971, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard there- on; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution the Village Consulting Engineers have prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of said DAWCIN ACRES road and have presented such plans and specifications to the Village Council for appro- val; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for said improvement, authorized by said resolution, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, it appears that Tower Asphalt, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Lake Elmo: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council's resolution adopted September 7, 1971. 2. The plans and specifications, ordered as afore- said, a copy of which is on file in the office of the Village Clerk., are hereby approved. 3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and direc- ted to enter into a contract with said Tower Asphalt, Inc. in the name of the Village of Lake for the improvement of said DAWCIN ACRES road according to the plans and specifications therefor, as approved herein:
