R-72-7 <br />RESOLUTION <br />VILLAGE OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR REHEARING ON THE DAWCIN ACRES <br />ROAD IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS: <br />A public hearing was held on the Dawcin Acres Road <br />Improvements of 1971, for the Village; <br />The notice of said hearing was defective because <br />publication thereof was inadequate. <br />Said defect can only be cured by calling a new public <br />hearing pursuant to proper notice thereof; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council <br />of the Village of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. A public hearing will be held at the time and place <br />set forth in the Notice of Rehearing hereto attached to consider <br />said improvements for the Village. <br />2. The nature of the improvements, the estimated <br />cost thereof, and the areas proposed to be assessed therefor are <br />described in the: form of Notice of Rehearing hereto attached. <br />3. The notice of said. public rehearing shall be in <br />substantially the form of notice attached hereto. <br />4. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause notice of said rehearing to be given two publications in <br />the official newspaper. Said publications shall be one week apart, <br />and at least three days shall elapse between the last publication <br />and the hearing. Not less than ten days before the hearing the <br />Clerk shall mail notice of the hearing to the owner of each parcel <br />of land within the area proposed to be assessed. <br />Passed this 7th day of Mar 1972. <br />Calvin J. ookman, Mayor <br />Attest. - <br />Donald Me sik�omer, Clerk <br />
