CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-082 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR THE 2006 OVERLAY PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2006 OVERLAY <br />PROJECT were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the attached bids <br />were received complying with the advertisement. <br />AND WHEREAS, VALLEY PAVING, INC. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE <br />ELMO, MINNESOTA: <br />The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with VALLEY PAVING, INC. in the amount of $208,318.00, in the name of the <br />City of Lake Elmo for the 2006 OVERLAY Project according to the plans and <br />specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of <br />the city clerk. <br />2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall retained until a contract has been signed. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 15th day of August, 2006. <br />Dean A.
