Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: Maintenance/Park/Fire/Building <br />No. 9A <br />City Council <br />August 2, 2006 <br />A enda Item: Park Plan System Update - Consultant Selection <br />Background Information for August 2, 2006: <br />The Park Commission interviewed 3 consulting firms on July 17, 2006. The Council had been also invited <br />to participate in the interview process. At a Special Park Commission meeting July 25, 2006 the <br />Commission unanimously (of those voting) adopted a recommendation to the City Council that the firm <br />TKDA be contracted to complete the update of the 1990 Park System Plan. The attached Resolution <br />confirms the Commission's recommlendation and authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute <br />the appropriate contract for services with TKDA. <br />Person responsible: <br />Action items: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #2006- approving the selection of <br />City 1'l�anner <br />TKDA as consultant for the Park System Plan Update, and <br />authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a <br />contract for services. <br />Attachments: <br />Time Allocated: <br />1.
