Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: CONSENT AGENDA <br />No 4 E. <br />City Council <br />Dec. 19, 2006 <br />Agenda Item: Street Name Change <br />Within the Plat of HIDDEN MEADOWS OF LAKE ELMO is a small street running generally north/south <br />(see attached map) that was platted as Kindred Avenue North. The applicant chose that street name even <br />though the street aligns with Kelvin Avenue North. City street names and addresses are issued by the <br />Building Official. The Building Official issued an address for the church as 5825 Kelvin Avenue North. <br />After the building permit was issued, there was confusion because contractors would refer to Kindred and <br />city files and addressing refer to Kelvin. <br />Action Items: <br />Person responsible: <br />Motion /Second , to change the <br />name of Kindred Avenue North within the Plat of HIDDEN <br />MEADOWS OF LAKE ELMO to Kelvin Avenue North because <br />its north/south alignment is to Kelvin Avenue in other areas of the <br />city, and to direct staff to notify the owner and appropriate <br />agencies of the change, particularly the 9-1-1 Emergency System. <br />Attachments: <br />Time Allocated: <br />Location Map <br />Resolution to Change Street Name <br />
