CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-017 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SHORELAND OVERLAY DISTRICT VARIANCE <br />FOR PATRICK FLANNAGAN, 4773 OLSON LAKE TRAIL <br />WHEREAS, at its January 23, 2006 meeting, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the variance application to Shoreland OHW setback at 4473 <br />Olson Lake Trail from Patrick Flanagan, per plans staff dated January 19, 2006, to <br />remodel and add an addition to the house based on the following findings: <br />1. The lot was platted before current zoning and the Shoreland overlay <br />district were established. <br />2. The proposal is deemed to be reasonable. <br />3. It will not alter the character of the neighborhood in any negative <br />fashion. <br />WHEREAS, at the February 7, 2006 meeting, the Lake Elmo City Council <br />reviewed the application of Patrick Flannagan for a shoreland overlay district variance to <br />the OHW setback at 4773 Olson Lake Trail. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lake Elmo City Council approves <br />the Shoreland Overlay District Variance for a remodel and addition to the home for <br />Patrick Flannagan, 4473 Olson Lake Trail, based on the plans staff dated February 3, <br />2006 and the findings and recommendation of the Planning Commission. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on the 71h day of February, 2006. <br />Dean Johnston, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Martin Rafferty, City Administrator <br />
