B. Public Informational <br />(1) Donation to Lake Elmo: Betsy Lundquist <br />Brad Winkels, President of the Lake Elmo Fire Relief Association, read a letter from the <br />Lundquist family describing their father, Bill Lundquist, as a man who always wanted to <br />be involved in his community. Bill Lundquist supported the Lake Elmo Fire Department <br />and touted their skill and needs to everyone and made a $20,000 donation to the relief <br />association. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Conlin — to install a plaque of thanks on the wall of the Lake Elmo Fire <br />Station in recognition of Lundquist donation to the Firemen Relief Association and the <br />community over the years. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />(2) John Elholm — Lake Elmo Park Reserve Master Plan <br />County Parks Director Jim Luger and Larry Walker, reviewed the Lake Elmo Park <br />Master Plan draft that contained additions of a natural & cultural resource <br />protection/restoration, interpretation, camping, picnicking, water based facilities, trails <br />(cross country ski trails) (mountain bike) (paved trails), miscellaneous facilities (archery) <br />(winter recreation) <br />John Elholm, Washington County Senior Parks <br />based on public comments.
