gk9611 1 <br />Snecifled Proposed Amendments to the City of Lake Elmo System Statement <br />1. Substitute the term "rural residential" for the term "diversified rural" wherever in the <br />Lake Elmo System Statement the term "diversified rural' now appears. <br />2. Amend Page 2, Paragraph 4 of the City of Lake Elmo System Statement to delete all, <br />and substitute the following: <br />"Rural residential areas are immediately adjacent to developing areas and have large <br />numbers of individual sewage treatment systems at densities of one dwelling unit per <br />2.5acres or less. Rural residential areas face challenges in making the transition from <br />rural unsewered development to sewmed development." <br />3. Amend Map W-7 of the Lake Elmo System Statement to: <br />a. Designate only areas south of lot' Street North, and the defined Old Village <br />area as "Developing Area" <br />b. Designate the balance of the City as "Rural Residential" <br />4. Amend Page T-3, paragraph 3 of the Lake Elmo System Statement to delete the <br />fourth sentence; and delete any other references to the "Lake Elmo Park and Ride" <br />that may appear in the System Statement. <br />
