In the interest of ensuring fair and accurate assessment of performance, all <br />performance appraisals will be reviewed and acknowledged by one management <br />level above the author. <br />2. The management review is NOT intended to be an approval. The reviewer may <br />add comments; however, the reviewer may not require changes. <br />3. In the cases where the reviewer is the City Council, only comments which have <br />the approval the majority of the City Council may be added. These approved <br />comments would become part of the performance appraisal. <br />4. In the cases where the reviewer is the City Council, the mayor would sign the <br />performance appraisal after review by the City Council and after the approved <br />comments have been added. <br />
