Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: MAINTENANCE/PARK/FIREBUILDING <br />No 7A(1)• <br />City Council <br />June 6, 2006 <br />Agenda Item: PARKS DEPARTMENT — Reserving Neighborhood Parks <br />Background Information for June 6, 2006 <br />The City Council requested the Parks Commission review the policy for reserving parks for organized <br />activities. The City Planner indicated that parking is a major issue and the functional classification of parks <br />helps to direct use. <br />Mike Bouthilet provided a staff memo with his comments for those parks that should be reserved. The <br />Parks Commission recommended that all parks listed in Tier I (DeMontreville, Lions, Pebble, Reid, Tablyn <br />and VFW) and Tier II (Kleis, Ridge, and Stonegate) on Mike Bouthilet's memo dated May 10, 2006 be <br />reservable for organized activities. <br />Person responsible: <br />Action Items: <br />M.Bouthilet/M.Rafferty <br />Motion Second , to adopt the Policy for <br />Reserving Neighborhood Parks as recommended by the Parks <br />Commission and per memo of Mike Bouthilet dated May 10, <br />2006. <br />Attachments: May 15, 2006 Parks Commission Minutes <br />Mike Bouthilet's memo dated May 10, 2006 <br />
