CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-047 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR THE TABLYN PARKJLAKE ELMO <br />HEIGHTS/31ST STREET WATERMAIN PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Tablyn Park/Lake Elmo <br />Heights/3I" Street Watermain Project were received, opened, and tabulated according to <br />law, and the attached bids were received complying with the advertisement. <br />AND WHEREAS, Park Construction Company is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE <br />ELMO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Park Construction Company in the amount of $3,143,640.78, in the name of <br />the City of Lake Elmo for the Tablyn Park/Lake Elmo Heights/31' Street <br />Watermain Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the city clerk. <br />2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall retained until a contract has been signed. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 16th day of May, 2006.. <br />Dean A.
