Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: Planning, Land Use and Zoning <br />No. 9A <br />City Council <br />May 16, 2006 <br />Agenda Item: Zoning Variances — 8009 Hill Trail (Tacheny) <br />Background Information for May 16, 2006: <br />The Council deferred action on this application at the May 2 meeting pending a full Council compliment to <br />consider the matter on May 16. Mr. Tacheny has advised the staff that he has additional testimony to <br />present the City Council as well. The complete May 2 packet materials are included here, including the <br />original draft approval resolution. Should the Council decide on this matter contrary to the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation for approval, the Resolution will require different findings to support denial <br />— beyond a simple finding that the application fails to comply with the required variance standards. <br />The application is dated April 3, 2006.
