Public lnquiries \�,:,� <br />John McPherson,Yghair of WesthLakeland Township, requested the City's financial <br />support to oppose the Fly Ash site in their township. Traffic and pollution are concerns. <br />Xcel is working with tlie; CAwhich has no guidelines to follow. Six mayors and two <br />townships have offered financial support. <br />Council Member DeLapp asked who has authority over this site and was told Met <br />Council. Council Member Smith agrees with financial support but a plan of attack is first <br />needed. Mayor Johnston asked when their Township was meeting again. McPherson <br />proposed another meeting to discuss their goal and action needed. <br />Resident Mark Busta, 8810 27`h St. Ct. N., Tablyn Park area. He proposed a 96' cul-de- <br />sac be landscaped for a 42' diameter landscaped in the middle with a 27' wide street. It <br />would possibly reduce City snowplowing and removal, and beautify the neighborhood. <br />Three driveways already exist but the neighbors would be willing to maintain the <br />landscaping; possibly have a decorative light installed.
