CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />NOTICE OF HEARING <br />ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR <br />CURRENT MUNICIPAL SERVICES AND/OR MUNICIPAL UTILITIES <br />TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, will <br />meet in the Council Chambers in the City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, on the 21 st day of <br />November, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. to consider, and possibly adopt the proposed assessment for <br />unpaid municipal services or municipal utilities. <br />You may prior to certification of assessment to the County Auditor, pay the entire <br />assessment. If the assessment is not prepaid before December 15, 2006, the rate of eight <br />percent (8%) interest or a charge of $25.00, whichever is greater, will be applied to the <br />assessment balance. The assessment will be due in full for the taxes payable 2007 <br />calendar year. <br />The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection at the Finance Director's <br />office. Written or oral objections will be considered at the meeting. No appeal may be <br />taken as to the amount of an assessment unless a signed, written objection is filed with <br />the City Administrator prior to the hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the <br />hearing.
