Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: MAINTENANCE/PARK/FIRE/BUILDING <br />NO.7A <br />City Council <br />(1) <br />November 8`h, <br />2006 <br />Agenda Item: Truck Lifts <br />Background Information for November 8 , 2006 <br />A new set of trucks lifts were programmed for the new Public Works garage. These were <br />proposed to be purchased by owner (the city) for $30,000 to $35,000. The Public Works <br />Department has had a new set of lifts in for a "demo" which has met our criteria. Specifically <br />they function safely and can lift the City's entire inventory to include the Fire Department. <br />The Public Works Department recommends the purchase of the new "demo" model, with an <br />extended warranty and a price reduction off the State contract of $800.00 <br />Persons responsible: <br />Action items: <br />M.
