SCADA is the control system which allows the well <br />pumps and the water tower to communicate. It also allows the water operator to monitor and <br />control the operation of the water system from the Public Works Building, or a remote location. <br />This bid package will include controls for the two well sites the Water Tower Number 2, the lift <br />station on Hudson Boulevard, and dedicated computer hardware and software for the Public <br />Works Building. <br />This SCADA system is expandable to allow for other future City facilities to be monitored as <br />well. <br />Cit}, Council Action Requested <br />Approve Plans and Specifications for the SCADA system, and authorize the advertisement for <br />bids. <br />Sincerely; <br />Thomas D.
