Current Programs <br />1. Here is a list of the programs we are currently providing. Can you please share <br />which of these you or your family members are currently using, or have used in the <br />past. <br />Opportunities Community Education Offers to the Community <br />Early Childhood Programs/Services <br />• Parent Education to increase parent knowledge of child development and to develop <br />realistic expectations for parents and young children. <br />• Child/parent classes that include children and parents learning together with a parent <br />education component. <br />• Dome Visits for families who cannot attend weekly classes. <br />• Family events <br />• Integrated Preschool for 3 and 4 year olds — Leaps `N Bounds, Cimarron, Sunny Hill, <br />Head Start <br />• Early Childhood Screening to identify any possible health or learning concerns prior to <br />kindergarten <br />• home -based services for children birth to three years old who have an identified <br />educational disability. <br />• Early Childhood Special Education in -center classes for children ages 2-5 with Autism <br />Spectrum Disorders <br />• Early Childhood Special Education classes for children with moderate to severe <br />disabilities <br />• Speech and Language classes and individual speech therapy <br />• Special support services such as Adaptive Physical Education, physical therapy, <br />occupational therapy, school psychology and nursing. <br />Adult Basic Education Program/Services <br />• ESL Classes English as a Second Language <br />• ABE Classes Assistance with enhancing reading, writing and math skills <br />• GED Program Test preparation <br />• Citizenship Test preparation <br />• Adult Diploma Program <br />• Preparation for employment testing <br />• Preparation for college entrance exams <br />• Basic computer skills <br />
