efforts to improve their economic circumstances and to help their children achieve <br />academic success. <br />• Courage St. Croix and the school district's Special Education staff ensure that <br />children of all abilities are served in an. inclusive way and that parents are <br />provided with the support they need. <br />The YMCA of Greater St. Paul will provide support for current gaps in <br />programming, such as childcare, special events, recreation, and wellness <br />activities. <br />4. .Here are some of the programs could be available at the new center. <br />Please rank the top five in order of importance to you and your family. <br />(These could be divided into groups and each group ranked from 1-5). <br />• An indoor competition or lap pool <br />• An indoor leisure fun pool with water slide <br />• An outdoor swimming pool with splash area and water slide <br />An indoor ice skating rink <br />• Racquetball courts <br />• An exercise, fitness, and weight room <br />• An indoor running/walking track <br />• Gymnasiums <br />• A whirlpool bath, stearn rooms, and hot -tub facility <br />• An aerobics and dance room <br />Indoor and outdoor playgrounds for children <br />• An arts center, including arts and crafts rooms for classes and instructional <br />programs and a gallery for the exhibition of the works of local artists <br />• A senior citizens drop -in center <br />• A large cormnuruty room, with attached kitchen, for banquets, parties, <br />organizational meetings, and other rental purposes <br />• A communitytheater for the performing arts <br />• Picnic facility and trails adjoining the center <br />• Snack bar, soda fountain, and coffee shop <br />• A teen center <br />• Multi -purpose classrooms <br />• Are there any other recreational facilities you would like to see in a <br />Community Family Center?
