Inc. <br />August 18, 2006 <br />MEMORANDUM (Revised) <br />TO: St. Croix Valley Area Community Family Center Site Selection Task Force <br />FROM: Mary C. Bujold <br />Maxfield Research Inc. <br />RE: Updated and Revised Assessment of Potential Sites for SCVA Community <br />Family Center <br />Introduction <br />This memorandum discusses and analyzes our findings regarding identification of potential sites <br />for the location of the proposed SCVA Community Family Center. <br />This memorandum includes the following: <br />✓ Identification of sites and site characteristics currently sponsored by Cities participating in <br />the SCVA Community Family Center process; <br />✓ Identification of sites and site characteristics currently available and marketing in the <br />Stillwater Area, but not sponsored by Cities. <br />✓ Identification of the strengths and weaknesses associated with each of the sites; <br />✓ An analysis and review of projected growth trends in communities in the Stillwater School <br />District (mapping of growth trends); <br />✓ An assessment of the current and projected population and household base within one, three <br />and five miles of each of the sites. Full radii and adjusted areas are shown.
