Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: Finance <br />No. 5A <br />City Council <br />09-05-2006 <br />Agenda Item: Adoption of Proposed Tax Levy & Proposed 2007 Budget <br />tn <br />Background Information for September 06, 2005: <br />Attached, Please find Resolution 2006-088 pertaining to the adoption of the proposed 2007 proposed budget and the <br />2006 Tax Levy, collectible 2007 in the amount of $ 2,428,600. A Council Committee Budget Workshop was <br />conducted on August 08, 2006 with the full Council in attendance. The recommended adjustments have been <br />completed and the proposed Levy is set for Council review and approval. Please note; the proposed amount certified <br />to the County by September 15, 2006 cannot be increased however the City does retain the discretion to lower the <br />Levy. <br />Action Items: Motion to Adopt Resolution No. 2006-088 for <br />Person responsible: <br />the Proposed 2006 Tax Levy, collectible in 2007 and the 2007 <br />Tom Bouthilet <br />Proposed Budget. <br />Attachments: Resolution 2006-088 <br />
