Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: Planning, Land Use and Zoning <br />No. 9A <br />City Council <br />September 5, <br />2006 <br />Agenda Item: Zoning Variance — Richard & Eileen Bergman <br />Background Information for September 5, 2006: <br />At its August 28 meeting the Planning Commission conducted a Public Hearing and unanimously adopted a <br />recommendation for approval of a variance to allow a second accessory structure on an RR zoned parcel. <br />Both accessory structures exist today. The barn structure is located on an adjoining tax parcel (also owned <br />by the Bergmans) today, but was originally a part of the homestead parcel on which it will be located should <br />this variance and a subsequent Minor Subdivision be approved. The Minor Subdivision action does not <br />accompany the variance action at this time, but would be considered by the Planning Commission on <br />September 11, and by the Council on September 19 if this variance I approved as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Person responsible: <br />Action items: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution 2006 - approving a zoning variance to <br />Cy lane <br />locate two accessory buildings on an RR zoned parcel. <br />Attachments: QC1 -:�I' <br />Time Allocated: <br />1.
