Lake Elmo City Council Minutes <br />November 21, 2000 <br />Mayor Hunt called the Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council chambers. <br />PRESENT: Siedow, Hunt, DeLapp, City Attorney Fill, City Engineer Pew, Building <br />Inspector Jim McNamara, City Planner Dillerud and Administrator Kueffner. ABSENT <br />Council Members Armstrong and Dunn. <br />L AGENDA <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Siedow — to approve the November 21, 2000 City Council agenda, as <br />amended. (Motion passed 3-0.) <br />2. MINUTES:November 8,200 <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to approve the November 8, 2000 City Council minutes, as <br />amended. (Motion passed 3-0.) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to adopt Resolution no. 2000-057 approving claims number <br />18210 through 18279 in the amount of $61,881.43, as presented. (Motion passed 3-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INOUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL: <br />Marc Hugunin, Met Council member, provided comments on land supply versus the <br />Builders Association comments on finding shortage of developable land and predicting <br />housing crunch in coming years. <br />5. NEW BUSINESS: <br />6. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Resignation of Brett Emmons from Village Commission <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to accept the resignation of Brett Emmons from the Village <br />Commission, and direct the city staff to send a letter of appreciation. (Motion passed <br />3-0). <br />B. Purchase of Computer <br />Members of the Fire Department have reviewed the specs and got quotes for a <br />second computer for the department. The Fire Chief thought that by adding a second <br />computer, more than one fire department member can be working on their run <br />reports and other record keeping items that must get done. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to approve the purchase of a Dell Dimension 4100 Series <br />computer (including a HP color printer) at the quoted price of $2057 plus tax and <br />shipping. (Motion passed 3-0.) <br />
