Administrator Kueffner administered the OATH OF OFFICE to <br />Councilmember SIEDOW and Councilmember DUNN <br />Acting Mayor Dunn called the Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the <br />Council chambers. PRESENT: Siedow, Dunn, Armstrong, DeLapp, City <br />Attorney Filla, City Engineer Prew and Administrator Kueffner. ABSENT: <br />Mayor Hunt. <br />L AGENDA <br />M/S/P Armstrong/DeLapp — to approve the January 2, 2001 City Council <br />agenda, as amended. (Motion passed 4-0.) <br />2. MINUTES: DECEMBER 19, 2000 <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Siedow — to approve the December 19, 2000 City Council <br />minutes, as amended. (Motion passed 4-0.) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Siedow — to adopt Resolution No. 200 1 -01 approving Claim <br />Number 18371 through 18403 in the amount of $20,011.75. (Motion passed <br />4-0.) <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL: <br />A. PUBLIC INQUIRIES <br />Washington County Deputy Terry Hyde, replacement for Deputy Keith <br />Anderson, introduced himself. <br />5. ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING <br />A. Election of Acting Mayor <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Armstrong — to appoint Councilmember Dunn as Acting <br />Mayor. (Motion passed 3-lAbstain: Dunn) <br />B. Designation of Legal Newspaper <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Armstrong to postpone designation of legal newspaper until <br />January 16 for Administrator Kueffner to obtain clarification on her <br />questions from Chris Baldus, Gazette Editor, but continue with Stillwater <br />Gazette as the City's legal newspaper until January 16`h.
