Mr. Wisniewski stated the City has to submit their disfavor with a three- <br />quarter access on CSAH17. Council member Dunn pointed out in the 5-year <br />CIP, for safety aspect if there is signalization to slow traffic down then you <br />don't need a three-quarter access. Mayor Hunt stated he would consider <br />this, but needs more discussion. <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br />Terry Berg gave an update on the status of networking. <br />6. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Resignation of Arlo Frost Old Village Special Projects <br />M/S/P Dunn/DeLapp - to postpone consideration of Arlo Frost's resignation <br />and urge Mr. Frost to reconsider his resignation or to request consideration <br />of appointment to serve on the Planning Commission when there is an <br />opening or share any alternatives for the special projects village commission. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />7. MAINTENANCE/PARK/FIRE/BUILDING: <br />Gloria Knoblauch asked when the potholes would be filled on Laverne <br />Avenue. This will be answered for the next meeting. <br />Council member Dunn received a request for a second street sweeping of an <br />area in Tartan Meadows. <br />A. Update On Maintenance Dept. Activities Greg Malmquist, Fire Code Ordinance <br />New Construction <br />Fire Chief Malmquist updated the Council on the Fire Department's Fire <br />Prevention Open House and other Department activities. <br />Fire Chief Malmquist has drafted a Fire Detection ordinance, which was <br />reviewed and approved by the Building Official.
