-3- <br />Minutes of the Lake Elmo Council Meeting con't <br />Walter Pechan - 9 acres in Carlson Measows. Wants to build home. Has a 50 ft. strip <br />`or access road to Lake Jane Road. Mr. Pechan advised that permit could be granted <br />subject to his meeting all of the appropriate codes - building, plumbing, sewer <br />and well. <br />Motion by C. Shervheim second by C. Abercrombie permitting clerk to pay the bills. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Counsel requested that minutes of June 5, 1973 be amended to show the Stillwater <br />Daily Gazette as the official paper with the Review, to be used also for informational <br />purposes. Word temporarilly should be stricken. <br />Motion by C. Watson second by C. Friedrich to approve June 5, 1973 minutes as amended. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Council to tour proposed park property on Tuesday July 17, 1973. Tour will start at <br />the village hall at 4:00 p.m. <br />Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. Watson to approve minutes of June 4, 1973 meeting of <br />the Board of Equalization as submitted Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Motion by C. Watson second by C. Abercrombie to adopt the Proposed Policy on Sign Regulations <br />submitted by PTand shall be written into the village ordinance on sign control. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Building inspector advised that 3M has a travel trailer on its property which is used by <br />:heir security department as a summer residence. 3M will request that this be incorporated <br />in their special use permit. Building inspector recommends approval. <br />Lake Elmo Jaycees reported that a census to establish that village now exceeds 5,000 <br />is not warranted. A preliminary check accounted for only 4295. Motion by C. Abercrombie <br />second by C. Shervheim to accept Jaycee report and instruct clerk to write letter of <br />appreciation. Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Motion by C. Shervheim second by C. Abercrombie to cancel the hearing on County Road 19B <br />scheduled for June 27, 1973. Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. Watson to reaffirm position of village regarding <br />payment by Gonyea of $58,000. toward Helmo Avenue project. Unless the check applies <br />against total project cost village will withdraw their orders for the project. Payment <br />does not apply only against Gonyea - DeCostor assessment. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Motion by C. Watson second by C. Shervheim giving approval of counsel to draft ordinance <br />on flood plain zoning in accordance with 5-29-73 proposal. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Motion by C. Shervheim second by C.
