MINUTES OF LAKE ELMO VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING April 2, 1974 Page 1 Meeting called to order at 7;30 p.m. by Mayor Eder. Present: Eder, Watson, Abercrombie, Shervheim, Pott and Mehsikomer Also present: Bldg. Insp. Mueller, Counsel Raleigh, Engineer Bonestroo and PZC members Dreher, Folz and Lyons, Minutes April 19, 1974 page 2 - Ruth's addition 1st paragraph last sentence should be amended to read "The PZC in their minutes for the meeting of March 12, 1974 recommended approval, subject to (10) stated conditions. Paragraph 2 last two (2) words "required changes" should be changed to "suggestions". Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. WAtson to approve minutes as amended. Carried 5 - 0. Minutes April 26, 1974 Section on I94 2nd sentence should be amended to read "RAPP - I94 is the major objector to the original I 94 routing, while the I-94 Truth Association strongly favors the original route plan. Motion by C. Watson second by C. Shervheim to approve minutes as amended. Carried 5 - 0. Dog Nuisance: C. Pott offered a proposal on coping with the dog problem. A letter, copy attached, would be sent to all Lake Elmo residents. Village office would be open to issue dog licenses on Tuesday and Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9a.m. to 1p.m. Motion by C. Pott second by Shervheim to implement program as per letter. Carried 5 - 0. Vali-Hi SUP.: Motion by C. Shervheim second by C. Abercrombie to defer any action on transfer of special use permit to new owner Henry Plitt. Carried 5 - 0. Attempt to have representative of.new owner at next meeting. Lake Surface Mayor Eder asked to change several names of members of the Water Surface Committee: Use Zoning Study Committee. Robert Brogren for Robert Anderson from Olson Lake Area; Mrs. Thomas (Jeanne) Schwartz for Norm Wendt from Lake Elmo and Mrs. Robert (Marlene) Nelson for Richard Straumann from Eagle Point Lake Area. Motion by C. Shervheim second by C. Watson to approve changes as requested. Carried 5 - 0. Battle Creek Mayor Eder, C. Abercrombie and Battle Creek Committee Member R. Johnson Drainage: attended joint powers meeting March 28. Joe Anderlik of Bonestroo and Assoc. also present. Next session April 4, 1974 C. Abercrombie will attend for Village. Fred Richert Motion by C. Watson second by C. Shervheim to direct Elmer Richert, Mining representing Fred Richert, to return to PZC requesting the required Permit: hearing. Carried 5 - 0.
