R-74-13 <br />RESOLUTION <br />VILLAGE OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR AN ELECTION ON $725,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION <br />PARK BONDS OF 1974. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, <br />Minnesota,as follows: <br />1. This Council has investigated the facts and does hereby <br />find, determine and declare that it is necessary and expedient <br />to provide money for the acquisition and betterment of park <br />facilities in the City. <br />2. The proposition of authorizing the issuance of $725,000 <br />General Obligation Park Bonds for said purpose shall be submitted <br />to the qualified electors of the City at a election to be held on <br />June 11, 1974. Said election shall be held between the hours of <br />7:00 o'clock A.M. and 8:00 o'clock P.M. C.D.S.T. The polling <br />place shall be Lake Elmo, Minnesota. <br />3. The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to post and <br />publish according to law a Notice of Election, and to prepare <br />ballots for use at said election, which notice and ballot shall <br />be in substantially the following form: <br />NOTICE <br />OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election will be held <br />in and for the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota, <br />on June 11, 1974, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and <br />8:00 o'clock P.M. at which time the following question will be <br />submitted: <br />Shall the City of Lake Elmo issue its general <br />obligation bonds in the amount of $725,000 for <br />the acquisition and development of parks? <br />The polling place for said election will be the City Hall, at <br />which place all of the qualified electors of the City may cast their <br />ballots. <br />Dated: 1974 <br />BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />/s/ Donald Mehsikomer <br />City C er <br />
