R-74-19 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION AND COMMENDING <br />PARK STUDY COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS, the voters of the City of Lake Elmo have recently <br />approved the issuance of bonds for the purpose of financing park <br />land acquisition; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the land acquisition proposed by <br />the Park Study Committee and approved by the voters is the re- <br />sult of the unselfish work and dedication of the members of the <br />Park Committee: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that each <br />and every member of the Park Study Committee - namely: David <br />Morgan, Chairman, Donald Dau, Michael Johnson, Ruth Mary Logue, <br />Jess Mottaz, Edmond Nielson, and Diane Trudeau <br />be, and they are hereby, commended for their efforts in preparing <br />the said plan and informing the voters of its provisions. <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council by this resolu- <br />tion, notes that without the generous contribution of time and <br />talent by the above -named persons, it is unlikely that this major <br />step toward the betterment of the City could have been made at <br />this time. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 18th day of June, 1974. <br />Ma, and L.
