R-74-31 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT ON 32ND STREET NORTH <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has determined that there <br />are special conditions and hazards on 32nd Street North (formerly North Shore Drive) <br />requiring a lower speed limit in order to insure the safe passage of automobile <br />traffic; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, with the aid of its Engineer and the Minnesota <br />State Highway Department, has determined that the speed of 25 miles per hour would <br />be a safe and reasonable speed on said street: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />that the speed limit on 32nd Street North (formerly North Shore Drive) shall be, and <br />the same is, established at 25 miles per hour. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City install appropriate traffic control signs <br />for purposes of implementing the 25 mile per hour speed limit on said street as soon <br />as is reasonably practical. <br />Adopted by the City Council this first day of October, 1974. <br />Maynarl L.
