MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL APRIL 15, '1975 pg. 3 <br />Lang Vacation:Councilman Shervheim presented Resolution R75-4 regarding the Lang <br />Vacation in the Lanes Demontreville Plat and requested council approval <br />of the final draft. 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons. Carried 4-0. <br />Patti Homes:Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to approve the SUP <br />for Patti Homes subject to the restrictions and conditions set forth by <br />the PZC in their meeting on April 8, 1975. Carried 4-0. <br />Richert Gravel Pit: Action on use of the northern road rather than the southern road <br />out of the gravel pit held up pending a recommendation from the PZC. <br />Berschens: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott to allow adjustment <br />of real estate description on Berschen's lot covered by 1972 variance to <br />permit correction of surveying error, as long as there is no substantial <br />change in lot size. Carried 4-0. <br />Claims: Motion by CouncilmanShervheim 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons authorizing the <br />payment of claims 75207 thru 75226. Carried 4-0. <br />Fire Department:Motion by _Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Shervheim to accept Gary <br />Allen Thompson as a member of the Lake Elmo Volunteer Fire Department <br />based on the recommendation of the fire chief. Carried 4-0. <br />Fire Department requested meeting between the council and the fire board. <br />Meeting set for the council meeting of May 6, 1975. <br />Correspondence: Letter received from the Minnesota Highway Department advising that <br />they had request for a speed check on Jamaca. They will make a study and <br />{ report back to the council on their recommendation. <br />Letter from county surveyor requesting notification for any new roads, <br />upgrading of roads, stormsewer construction,sanitary sewer construction, <br />water construction or general development. <br />Proclamations:Mayor Eder advised that he had approved two proclamations. <br />1Designating the week of April 14 - April 20, 1975 as Minnesota Honey <br />Sunday Week and urged residents to support this program aimed at <br />helping the mentally retarded. <br />2.Designation of April 25, 1975 as Arbor Day. <br />Airport: An informational meeting for citizens of Lake Elmo relative to possible <br />expansion of the Lake Elmo Airport is now set for Thursday May 1, 1975 <br />at 7:30 PM at the Lake Elmo Elementary School. <br />Adjournment:Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott to adjourn at <br />11:38 PM.
