Engineer recommended that
drainage be opened up and lake level and culvert level be brought in line.
Flood level cleanup:Question was raised as to who was responsible to clean up the
shoreline after the flood. The council advises that this is the personal
resonsibility of each landowner.
Assessment Hearing:This item should be on the agenda to discuss at the meeting of
August 19, 1975 at 5:00 PM.
Part Time Help:Councilman Pott asked the council to approve additional help to get
things up to date that have been delayed because of the necessary effort
on the part of city employees to fight the high water problem. Items that
are behind include street patching, shouldering, weed cutting (this may
take care of itself as we are now past the first cutting and would be
scheduling the second cutting), etc.
Kirby Kennedy asked the council if they planned to lower the level of Lake Jane
after the September 15,1975 date which was established, by resolution,
as the end of the emergency. Council advised that it would not give up
on the problem and would review it until resolved.
Part Time Help:Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to approve
for up to 80 manhours at a cost, not to exceed, $4.50/hour.
