MINUTES OF THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING, JANUARY 6, 1976. <br />Meeting called to order at 7:38 p.m. by Mayor Eder. <br />Present: Mayor Eder, Councilmen Abercrombie, Shervheim and Pott <br />and Councilwoman Lyons. <br />Also present: Bldg. Insp. Mueller, Counsel Raleigh and Engineer <br />Bonestroo. <br />1976 Wages: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott <br />to accept the recommendation of the salary committee <br />establishing 1976 wage scale as follows: <br />Elmer Richert from $6.08 to $6.53/hr. <br />Robert Wier F1 $5.58 to $6.03/hr. <br />Edna Beers $3.50 to $3.77/hr. <br />Marilyn Banister $2.90 to $3.12/hr. <br />Clerk -Treasurer $300.00 to $350.00/month. <br />Good Friday was added as a loth Holiday. <br />The authorization to increase accumulated sick <br />leave from 60 to 100 days. <br />Casual labor rate set at $2.30 and truck driver <br />rate at $3.80. Carried 5-0. <br />Minutes: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilwoman <br />Lyon to approve minutes of December 16, 1975 meeting <br />as submitted. Carried 5-0. <br />Claims: Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilman <br />Shervheim to approve payment of claims 76001 thru 76047. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Appointments:Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Shervheim <br />to approve the following appointments for 1976: <br />Depository --State Bank of Lake Elmo <br />Official Publication --Stillwater Daily Gazette` <br />Vice Mayor--R. B. Abercrombie <br />Bonding Agent --Duran & Moody <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Green Acres: Lloyd Shervheim offered Resolution #R76-01 approving <br />installation of coin operated amusement devices at <br />Green Acres Recreation subject to certain conditions <br />and requested council confirmation. 2nd by Council- <br />woman Lyons. Carried 5-0. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott <br />to adjourn meeting at 8:02 p.m. to allow scheduled <br />hearing on Comprehensive Plan to convene. Carried 5-0. <br />
