Carried 4-0. <br />I-94: Councilman Shervheim offered Resolution R76-30 confirmina <br />support for location of I-94 on the so-called "Northern Route" <br />and urging immediate completion thereof and requested council <br />approval. 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons. Carried 4-0. <br />Clerk directed to send ccpies to James *Tarrincrton and Vlilliam <br />rlerritt of the Minn. Ilw.y. Dept. and also to the Mayors of <br />Woodbury and Afton. <br />Newspaper Boxes: Councilman Pott advisee? that he would include as <br />part of right of way policv a recommendation for a single <br />pedestal for both the mail box and paper box and a color <br />restriction on the napes box. <br />Metro Council: Councilman Shervheim offered Resolution R76-31 <br />expressing Lake Elmo's Position relative to location of <br />IIUSA line, and requested council to approve. 2nc' by Council- <br />woman _Lyons. Carried 4-0. <br />Eagle Point Fork: Engineer to reviel-T to determine if seconds were <br />available for pipes and if the supplier would set them in <br />place if the City has the ditch ready when they deliver. pipes. <br />Engineer to report back at October 5th meeting. <br />Newsletter: Discussion regarding next issue of newsletter. Approval <br />requested and granted to hire someone to assemble the ne�,7S- <br />letter ("flollie Hedges suggested) at a cost not to exceed <br />$150.00. Items to be included are: Charter, Clean LTp Days, <br />'Metro Park, Dudaet, Lake Access, Doct ordinance, Funtinc, <br />Ordinance and any other pertinent items that are newsworthy.. <br />Correspondence: Letter from engineer_ advising status of Eden park <br />regarding development contract.
