R-76- 3,;k <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET FOR 1977 AND <br />LEVYING TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1977 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has hereto- <br />fore considered and has unanimously adopted a budget setting forth <br />in detail complete financial plans of the City for the year 1977; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk/Treasurer at the direction of the <br />Council has computed the amount of taxes necessary and within <br />statutory limits which must be levied and collected during the year <br />1977 in order to provide the budgeted funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has con- <br />sidered the said proposed levy and determined the same to be neces- <br />sary and in the public interest: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo that the attached budget is hereby adopted and approved <br />as the budget for the City of Lake Elmo during the year 1977 and the <br />sum of $227,845.00 is hereby levied in order to provide the City <br />with the funds required by said budget. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk/Treasurer is hereby <br />directed to certify a copy of this Resolution to the County Auditor <br />in accordance with law. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 5th day of October, 1976. <br />2 .1 <br />Attest: Ma n rd L.
