R-76-34 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS ON PEBBLE PARK <br />TENNIS COURTS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore ordered publication for bids for <br />the construction of three tennis courts in Pebble Park; and <br />WHEREAS, bids have been received from Carlson-LaVine, Inc., T. A. Schifsky <br />& Sons, Inc., Robert 0. Westlund Construction Co., and Henry O. Mikkelson Company; and <br />WHEREAS, the bids have been tallied and it appears that Carlson-LaVine, Inc., <br />with Alternate 1, is the lowest bidder with a bid of $19,400.00: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />that the bid of Carlson-LaVine, Inc., with Alternate 1, in the amount of $19,400.00 <br />is hereby accepted for the construction of three tennis courts in Pebble Park. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute <br />the appropriate contract in accordance with the specifications of the bid. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Engineer and other responsible City <br />officers are to direct the contractor to deposit all weigh tickets with the City <br />on a daily basis. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 19th day of October, 1976. <br />G 6 <br />Maynard L.
