R-76-38 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASIiINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION URGING REAPPOINTMENT OF OPAL PETERSEN <br />TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, Opal Petersen has been and is now the Metropolitan <br />Council member from the 14th Council District which includes the <br />City of Lake Elmo; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is informed that Ms. Petersen's <br />term as a member of the Metropolitan Council is.about to expire; <br />and <br />WIiEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has <br />found Ms. Petersen to be a concerned and dedicated representative <br />of the communities included within the 14th Council District: <br />NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lake Elmo <br />urges the Governor of the State of Minnesota to reappoint Opal <br />Petersen as Council Representative from the 14th Metropolitan <br />Council District. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be <br />celivered or mailed forthwith to the Governor and a copy thereof <br />to Ms. Opal Petersen. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 21st day of December, 1976. <br />/sue Maynard L.
