R-76-10(A) <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING MAYOR TO <br />FILE FIVE-YEAR PARK ACTION PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act (LAWCON) and the State <br />Natural Resources Fund Act provide for grants to assist local public bodies <br />in the acquisition and development of outdoor recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rules and Regulations for LAWCON and the State Natural. <br />Resources Fund grants are conditioned upon an application meeting certain <br />criteria; and <br />WHEREAS, in order for a proposed project to be eligible for approval <br />there must be proof that it is part of the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation <br />Plan and a five-year action program (Capital Improvement); and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has an original or revised five-year <br />action program, which includes DeMontreville Park: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />and to file the five-year action program with the State of Minnesota Office <br />of Local and Urban Affairs and the State Planning Agency. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 20th day of April, 1976. <br />Maynard L.
