R-76-2 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING REPORT ON PO`PENTIAL FLOOD DAMAGE <br />WHEREASrorthe the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has prior to the date hereof <br />made /app ication to the Minnesota Department of Natural. Resources and the Valley Branch <br />Watershed District for approval of an Interim Plan for Flood Control and issuance of <br />permits necessary therefor; and <br />WHEREAS, the Valley Branch Watershed District and the Department of Natural <br />Resources have requested a potential flood damage study as a necessary prerequisite <br />to the granting of such approval or issuance of permits; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has estimated the cost of such a damage report to <br />be approximately $6,292.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary and in the public interests for <br />said report to be prepared for the reasons outlined in the prior resolutions of <br />this Council authorizing the preparation of said Interim Plan for Flood Control: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the <br />City Engineer, Bonestroo, Anderlik & Associates, to prepare a report of potential <br />flood damage in the City of Lake Elmo as required by the Valley Branch Watershed <br />District and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Engineer is authorized to incur costs and <br />expense up to $6,292.00 in the preparation thereof. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 20th day of January, 1976. <br />Maynard L.
