R-77-9 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF IAKE ELM <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET FOR 1978 AND <br />LEVYING TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1978 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has heretofore considered <br />and has unanimously adopted a budget setting forth in detail complete financial <br />plans of the City for the year 1978; <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk/Treasurer at the direction of the Council has <br />computed the amount of taxes necessary and within statutory limits which must <br />be levied and collected during the year 1978 in order to provide the budgeted <br />funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has considered the said <br />proposed levy and determined the same to be necessary and in the public interest; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />that the attached budget is hereby adopted and approved as the budget for the City <br />of Lake Elmo during the year 1978 and the sum of $251,292.00 is hereby levied in <br />order to provide the City with the funds required by said budget. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk/Treasurer is hereby directed to certify <br />a copy of this Resolution to the County Auditor in accordance with law. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 20th day of September, 1977. <br />Attest: Thomas G.
