R-77-13 RESOLUTION CITY OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS, APPROVEING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS. WHEREAS,the City Council, after notice duly given in accordance with Chapter 429 of the Minnesota Statutes, held a public hearing on August 15, 1977, to consider the construction of the followin street improvements: The improvement of First Street and Immanuel Avenue by grading, installation of gravel base, bituminous surface and bituminous curb and a short section of storm sewer to carry run-off to the low area North of the East end of First Street; and WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that it would be in the best interests of the City and of the property adjacent to said streets to proceed with the said improvements: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo as follows: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered to the following extent only: the said streets shall be improved to an urban design standard as proposed in the Council Resolution dated August 3, 1977, and as described in the City Engineer's report presented at said public hearing; provided, however, the bituminous surfacing on said streets shall be only 32 feet wide and shall be without curbs or turf restoration. 2. Plans and specifications prepared by the city engineer for such improvements, copy of which plans and specifications is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. 3. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. 4.
