Minutes of Lake Elmo City Council Meeting, May 2, 1978. pg. 3 <br />office repair-cont'd.-- to accept any reasonable Quotation he is able <br />to obtain. <br />Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Mayor Armstrong <br />waiving the 2 quote requirement as 'long as quotation <br />is reasonable, within previous estimates. Carried 4-0. <br />John Oftt: Request to purchase land acquired by the City of Lake Elmo <br />as tax delinquent property. Specifically lots 526- <br />527-612 and 613, Lanes Demontreville Country Club. <br />Mayor Armstrong offered Resolution R78-18 authorizing <br />Counsel to make arrangements to turn back to Washington <br />County these lots acquired, for park purposes, because <br />of tax delinquencies in Lanes Demontreville Country <br />Club. Second by Councilwoman Lyons. Carried. 4-0. <br />Seal Coating: Mark Mattson, Washington County Hwy. Dept. advised that <br />Lake Elmo could be included in ciaunty bid. Seal <br />Coating contract materials: 10,000 gals seal coating <br />oil @ $.4775 = $4775.00. Aggregate 500 tons at $8.64/ <br />ton = $4,320.00. Total $9,095.00. <br />Price subject to ± (actual measurements) plus add'l <br />charge for hours and mileage <br />Oace 4th. Addition: -Tract D. Len Kedrowsky requested information on <br />regtiired set -back on tract D of Oace,4th. Addition. <br />This lot has, per development agreement, a 32 ft. <br />temporary easement for emergency vehicle use, <br />Is the set back from the lot line or from the easement <br />and how many feet is it. <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Mayor Armstrong <br />to approve a set -back on tract D of Oace, 4th. Addition <br />of five feet back of the temporary easement. (37 feet <br />back from the lot line.) Carried 4-0. <br />Animal Control: Adm. Assistant will contact MAPSI to see if we can <br />obtain better service as general consensus is that <br />We're not satisfied. <br />Park Hoard: Action to be withheld until PAC has had an opportunity to <br />review the ordinance change. <br />Personnel policies: Require decision so final report can be submitted <br />before end of June 1978. <br />Adm. Ass't. Vacation: Mr. Whittaker requested permission to take his <br />vacation from May 29 - June 9, Approved. <br />Jerry Coursolle: Should be put on May 16, 1978 to present his plan to <br />the council of changes to main street area of old <br />village. <br />May 16, 1978 Meeting: 5-6:30 p.m., session at city hall <br />7:30 p.m., on will be at Cimarron. <br />
