R-78-36 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LATE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET FOR 1979 AND LEVYING TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1979 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has heretofore considered <br />and has unanimously adopted a budget setting forth in detail complete financial <br />plans of the City for the year 1979; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk/Treasurer at the direction of the Council has <br />computed the amount of taxes necessary and within statutory limits which must <br />be levied and collected during the year 1979 in order to provide the budgeted <br />funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has considered the said <br />proposed levy and determined the same to be necessary and in the public interest; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />that the attached budget is hereby adopted and approved as the budget for the City <br />of Lake Elmo during the year 1979 and the sum of $168,631 or 9.5 mils, (whichever <br />is less) is hereby levied in order to provide the City with the funds required <br />by said budget and that the sums of $5,500 Special Assessment and $75,000 General <br />Obligation also be levied for 1979 Bonded Indebtedness. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk/Treasurer is hereby directed to certify <br />a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor in accordance with law. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 19th day of September, 1978 <br />Thomas G.
