The purpose of the
ordinance is to try to avoid a situation where a property owner
may remove a large tract of trees in such a manner or under such
conditions that the removal of those trees would have a detrimental
effect on 701e entire area. It is offered for your consideration.
The 4dinance relating to Licensing of Occupations is far
more extensive. Many of the occupations are already licensed by
our Village. Others were specifically included by Phil because
I had related to him the various requests of the Council to provide
for certain licensing at such time as the ordinances were codified.
The most significant, perhaps, is the licensing of general
contractors. The Council has indicated, a desire to provide such
licensing for sometime.
I am also sending a copy
elected members of the Council
of these ordinances to the newly
so that they may revi w them.
Yo t
Donald T.
